Gift Card Holders

Here's a creative way to give a gift card, make it into a snow globe!

Needed: a mason jar, some little ornaments, liquid gyclerin, glitter and ribbon.

Hot glue the gift card to the lid. Let it sit overnight. Don't worry, the gift card comes off pretty easily later on.

Put everything in the mason jar, close it with the lid.

Add a ribbon, shake it up and flip it upside down.

Ta da... done!

Root Deer!

Evan and Bryon's favorite drink is root beer and we usually have the fancy in the bottle root beer when we go on trips. This Christmas, we're spending it in Flagstaff, so I thought it'd be cute to dress up our root beer into root DEER!

Need: Brown pipe cleaners, eyes, red noses!

...And you get six cute root deers!

Holiday Ornaments

Made some scrabble tiled ornaments as presents. Six names took me two Scrabble games (too many Ys and Cs)...

They are also magnets so you can use them year round.

Here's all of them!

Walgreens Goodies!

Lots of goodies for low low prices...

It's been awhile so these are rough prices.

The big blue box of Puffs was free with two Vicks products. The cold medicine was $2 per box.

Pantene shampoos were all $1 each. Head and Shoulders was $2.

The Lysol wipes were $1.25 each, bought 4. Other Puff tissues were $.65 per box and I bought like 12, gave lots away. Charmin 6 packs were about $2.50 each.

Not pictured... Made $2 from 2 Colgate Total toothpastes for Evan's parents and made $.75 from floss for Evan.

Basically, Evan doesn't need to buy anything himself anymore. Yesterday he mentioned he needed Axe deodorant (he's picky about what kind), so today I went and got him his deodorant for $3.79 - $1 coupon - $1 RR = $1.79.

That's all for now!

Baby Kate - One month old

Kate is getting so big now! We thought it'd be a nice photo shoot with Kate dreaming away, but she decided to stay awake the entire time.

My favorites are the sweet pictures of Kate with her daddy!

Shout out to Rachel, who did an awesome job of distracting Kate and keeping her smiling!
